Melbourne, March 14, 2019 – SkedGo, a global mobility-as-a-service software development company with headquarters in Australia, delivered the technology for RACV’s unique commuter app arevo.
SkedGo’s technology allows businesses, governments and start-ups to create their own customised mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) offerings. For RACV (Royal Automotive Club Victoria), the company created a journey planning app including Melbourne’s local transport offerings such as Myki top-up, RACV car share, Melbourne bike share, Uber and taxi options and car park recommendations.
The app offers multi and mixed modal planning and booking – which means all transport modes can be combined into trip chains to create the most beneficial journey for users. The platform also includes smart personalisation options, such as setting preferences for the fastest, cheapest, most convenient or environmentally friendly route.

In 2016, TripGo spin-off RioGo won the official Rio Olympic City Transport challenge for the Olympic games. SkedGo was named Gartner Cool Vendor for Smart Cities Applications and Solutions in 2017.
Also in 2017, SkedGo won the Smart Cities & Accessibility Challenge run by the NSW Department of Finance, Service and Innovation with Transport for NSW and Slingshot to include more features for wheelchair users. In 2018, TripGo was named ‘Best Smartphone App’ by industry publication BMaaS.
Optus, the second largest telecommunications provider in Australia, uses TripGo as a white label to integrate Optus employee busses and encourage staff to leave their cars at home. MaaS Malaga uses TripGo to provide the first mobility as a service platform in Spain.
